The hourglasses designed by Paolo Venini in 1957 were exhibited at the Triennale di Milano the same year.
This piece is a large and rare model.
The two parts have a conical shape and different colors: one is pink and the other is grey green. (conical shape hourglasses are very scarce).

Flow time is about 5 minutes.
Few traces were left by the sand on the inside of the grey element.
Hourglass has its original white rubber cap and is signed “venini murano ITALIA” by acid stamp.
