About Valet by Jacques Adnet
This "Valet muet" is made of a superb work in black saddle stitched leather on a steel structure with brass accents (central shaft in faux bamboo),Beautiful saddle stitched black leather work on a steel frame with brass accents (faux bambou central shaft).
Jacques Adnet was born in 1900 in France. He graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs and became director of the « Compagnie des Arts français » in 1928. During the 30s, Adnet started to work with glass and metal. He designed a lot of pieces of furniture and accessories: side tables, coat racks, chairs, desks, …
Adnet is also particularly well-known for his metal creations covered with leather. His designs are extremely modern and are known for their comfort and elegance.
