Glass bird resting on its hammered copper legs, designed by Alessandro Pianon for Vistosi in Murano, in 1962.
Its cubic-shaped glass body, dark green (khaki) is decorated with red and blue murrines. Its eyes are represented by hot applied murrines.
The object is listed in the archives of Vistosi under the reference number S191.
This bird is one of a series of 5 different “species”. Each bird has a different shape with typical 60s colors and decorations of murrines and applied watermarks.
