Rare “Reine” mirror in beige Talosel, presented here in its large 30 cm version.
The convex central mirror is surrounded by a beige Talosel frame, with ivory and subtly browned nuances, richly worked in relief. The border is punctuated with oyster-coloured and pale green mirrored inlays, while twelve spherical elements arranged like a crown are themselves set with a mosaic of small mirrors, each centred by a green mirror.
The subtle combination of beige, pearlescent tones and green gives the piece a precious yet organic quality, characteristic of Line Vautrin’s most distinctive creations.
“Reine” mirrors are seldom encountered in Line Vautrin’s work, particularly in this large 30 cm size.
