Chest of large drawers whose wooden structure is entirely sheathed in saddle stitched black moleskin.
The front legs run along the sides of the cabinet to join the underside of the upper plate, they are also sheathed.
Each foot is finished with a brass ball.
the drawers are equipped with two large solid brass handles, the fasteners fixed using cap nuts characteristic of the work of jacques Adnet.
An elegant piece of furniture with generous dimensions.
A rare piece by the artist.
The pantalonnière appeared at the end of the 17th century, originally intended to accommodate trousers without having to fold them.
