About Clessidra hourglass, Paolo Venini, Venini Murano (Italy)
The hourglasses designed by Paolo Venini in 1957 were exhibited at the Triennale di Milano the same year. This piece is a large and rare model. The two parts have a conical shape and different colors: one is pink and the other is verdigris. The object is in very good condition. Please note a few traces were left by the sand on the inside of the grey element. The hourglass has its original white rubber cap and is signed "venini murano italia" by acid stamp. The flow-time is about five minutes.
