“Membrane” blown glass vase by Toni Zuccheri (1937–2008), Venini, Murano, 1972.
Cylindrical blown glass vase, lightly tinted in green, structured by a thin internal membrane forming a vertical partition. This inner wall, punctuated with white inclusions, animates the transparency of the glass and creates a subtle optical effect.
Emerging from Toni Zuccheri’s experimental research for Venini, the “Membrane” model is distinguished by an approach in which the internal structure becomes a formal element in its own right.
