This elegant pair of “Metteur en scène” armchairs features slender structures and distinctive crossed bases in black forged steel.

The seats and backrests are upholstered in thick cotton, edged with saddle-stitched black leather. The gently curved armrests are also wrapped in saddle-stitched black leather, while large leather-covered handles extend across the back, emphasizing the refined craftsmanship characteristic of Jacques Adnet’s work.

Combining the rigorous lines of the black steel structure with the contrasting textures of cotton and leather, these armchairs offer a sophisticated interpretation of the traditional director’s chair.

Despite their characteristic crossed-leg construction, these armchairs are not foldable.
