unforget says

Sorriso is the result of the last series of vases designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini at the end of the 80s.
It is a mouth-blown glass vase, on which is applied a milk-white smile with red lips.
The body of the vase is itself made of crystal clear glass.

The model came in two sizes, almost similar in size but different in diameter. It was produced until the early 2000s (Our copy produced in 1993) and bore the reference 424.01.

The vase is in very good condition, bears its original plastic label and is signed with a diamond point "venini 93 Fulvio Bianconi"

At the end of the 1980s Fulvio Bianconi returned to Venini for which he designed several series of pieces. "Epipedos", but also "La Donna" two very pretty "sommerso" vases, These "sorriso" vases of which we present several color variants but also the "ritagli " vase which has met with great commercial success and which is still available. Bianconi had first contacts with Venini in 1946 when he was in charge to find a manufacture to produce Perfume bottles. He met then Poalo Venini and they built a very strong relationship.

It was the beginning of the fifties and the firms had to choice between starting new designs or continue to produce classic shapes.
