Sculpture – Tacchino (Turkey) in murrine glass resting on bronze feet by Toni Zuccheri.
Sculpture entirely executed in white and opalescent murrine for the body, with red glass for the head of the animal.
The body rests on finely chiselled bronze legs.
At the intersection of Murano glassmaking tradition and a modern sculptural approach, this work fully illustrates Toni Zuccheri’s research for Venini.
A similar example of this model notably appears on the cover of the publication issued on the occasion of the Zuccheri retrospective at Le Stanze del Vetro in 2021.
