Long-Necked Vase by Guido Gambone (1909–1969), Florence, circa 1955.
Glazed ceramic with hand-painted polychrome decoration.
Elegant vase of slender proportions, featuring a pear-shaped body rising into a long, narrow neck. Against a subtly crackled white glaze, a hand-painted geometric pattern of interlacing green and brown motifs unfolds across the surface. A touch of turquoise-blue glaze accentuates the decoration.
