“Gribiche” mirror by Line Vautrin, mirror in ivory Talosel, inlaid with fragments of rose-colored mirrors.
The scarified Talosel structure is composed of two concentric crowns: the outer crown is formed by 32 oval mirror fragments, while the inner crown consists of 60 drop-shaped fragments.
The back is dotted with the characteristic pitting found in the artist’s early Talosel works.
