Floor lamp model 2576 by Max Ingrand – Fontana Arte

Floor lamp whose nickel-plated brass structure supports 4 large transparent / green colored glass legs fixed by two large cross-shaped spacers.
The floor lamp is equipped with a cylindrical shade (new and identical to the original).
Electrification redone as originally (European standards), original switch.
The power cable is housed in the central shaft which is slightly shorter than the glass legs, allowing it to come out of the shaft discreetly… A detail à la Fontana Arte !

Max Ingrand was a French glass artist born in 1908 and passed away in 1969. He is best known for his work in the field of stained glass, where he developed innovative techniques and created stunning pieces of art.

Ingrand began his career as a painter, but quickly turned to glass art, which he saw as a richer and more complex means of expression. He worked for several glass companies, including the renowned French luxury house, Baccarat.

Despite his premature death at the age of 61, Max Ingrand left behind an important legacy in the world of stained glass art. His creations are still admired for their beauty and innovation, and he remains an inspiration for many artists and designers today.
